Welcome to the official page of the Yahad of East Tennessee, where our motto is “builders of the wall, are overcomers not spectators.” (NEH. 2-6)
The Yahad leadership structure is ecclesiastical in nature as it was in the 1st century. We fully believe in the doctrines, and teachings of the Apostles. YET also believes in the functionality of all of the gifts given to edify, instruct, and assist the 1st century body of messiah in the earth. We also practice having all things in common.

The Yahad of East Tennessee will not have a pope, authoritarian, nor one family over it. All power, and decision making in the Yahad is equally shared between the Elders, Deacons, Overseer, and members of the general body. In short the community comes together in Yahad, just like our forefathers did in the 1st century to make anointed decisions for the assembly.

The Yahad will also be an assembly for all members to come to for pastoral counseling, prayer, edification, encouragement and exhortation. This is also an assembly that will allow for proper discipleship, and for individuals who have a gifting, or calling to be able to safely walk that out without the fear of being judged, or abused.

The Yahad of East Tennessee is an organization that fully believes in true fellowship, along with proper education, for all of its members.
Our goal is to empower every member of this body with the tools to walk in their giftings, and callings before YHWH with proper fear, and trembling. We want all of our members to dare to achieve their full potential in the Kingdom of the Almighty.

It is our goal to build with the help of YHWH an assembly locally that will not be like every other congregation that we have known in the past, run by either one man, or one family. We are daring to believe the torah, and the writings of our forefathers in the faith. We desire to strive together in Yahad to work, to make the Yahad better in every way.
